Our Team

Tim Hanson

Tim Hanson joined Elite-Medical as CEO in November 2014 and is responsible for overall company strategy and implementation. He was a Co-Founding investor and advisor to the company since 2010.

In 2007, Mr. Hanson was Vice President and Co-Founder at Launch Medical in Bartlett, Tennessee. Launch Medical was a Medical Device investing, consulting, idea and design company.

Prior to Launch Medical, Mr. Hanson was Vice President and Co-Founder of Machining Technology Group LLC Arlington, Tennessee. MTG was a medical device contract manufacturer, supplying medical instruments and implants to large medical device OEM’s, from 1998 until its acquisition by the Accellent Corporation, the largest medical device contract manufacturer in the United States in 2005.

Bryan Dowdy

Bryan Dowdy is the COO of the Elite-Medical and founded the company is 2009. Mr. Dowdy and his management team were responsible for building Elite’s business model and customer base. In 2015, Mr. Dowdy relocated to Florence, Alabama to start Elite-Florence. Opening a new facility in Alabama was a continuum to increase manufacturing capacity to better serve our client’s growing product demand. Mr. Dowdy has grown Elite-Florence each year adding new clients and products.

Prior to Elite-Medical Mr. Dowdy held various management positions of increasing responsibly at Machining Technology Group in Arlington, TN.

Bill Waltersdorff

Bill Waltersdorff is the Director of Manufacturing and heads the device manufacturing of complex component instrumentation and also implants. Mr. Waltersdorff has been with Elite-Medical since inception and leads the development and implementation of procedures and practices to support operations goals.

Prior to Elite-Medical, Mr. Waltersdorff worked for Smith & Nephew in product development. Mr. Waltersdorff holds a degree in engineering from Penn State University.

Tyson Dunn

Tyson Dunn is the Director of Operations and leads Elite-Bartlett by coordinating the activities of numerous departments and team members. Mr. Dunn also organizes and oversees the daily operations of customer relations and is a key facilitator of business development initiatives. Mr. Dunn has been with Elite-Medical since inception and ensures that the day to day business execution is well planned and operating smoothly.

Prior to Elite-Medical, Mr. Dunn worked for the Accellent Corporation in Arlington, TN as a manufacturing engineer and project manager. Mr. Dunn is a graduate of Arkansas State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Evan Gangaware

Evan Gangaware is the Director of Implant Operations and leads the Elite implant manufacturing by coordinating both the polymer and metal implant divisions. Mr. Gangaware started his career in the medical device field as an intern with Elite-Medical in 2010.

Throughout his career he has held various positions all with increasing responsibility. Mr. Gangaware is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
